Italian Football Federation president Gabriele Gravina has commented on the national team's qualification for Euro 2024.
"We made a promise to the Italian people to heal some of the sporting wounds, and we have kept our word.
A lot has changed with the arrival of Spalletti. The enthusiasm and desire to be a special team again has returned. With his calmness and good humour, Spalletti has brought back form and character to this team.
The Italian national team showed a strong spirit against Ukraine. We saw a team that dominated the match, apart from suffering in the final minutes. We qualified and came out where we should be. I thank Spalletti and the guys," Gravina said in a commentary for Football Italia.

Quello che ho visto io di quello che hanno visto in campo è quanto segue:
a) la faccia di Cristante ... era terrorizzato ... perchè sapeva cosa era successo ...
b) la faccia dell'arbitro ... che aveva visto benissimo ma non poteva fischiare ... per le ragioni ben immaginabili (qualcuno voleva l'Italia all'Europeo ... oltre a tutti noi ... )
c) la protesta degli ucraini ... anche troppo blanda ... perchè avevano capito che era un fallo da rigore ... un pestone pazzesco che ha fatto volare l'attaccante in "giallo" ... che era nell'abbrivio ...
Concludo dicendo che quelli che dicono che si è tuffato sono in mala malissima fede.
Abbiamo visto tutto quello che è successo; ma c'è chi nega.
Qualcuno ci voleva all'Europeo ... e questo è successo.
