Head coach of the Ukraine national team Serhiy Rebrov shared his emotions from the Euro 2024 qualifying match against Italy (0:0).
"Mixed emotions after yesterday's game. Although the fact that we failed to score the winning goal to qualify directly for the Euros and a very controversial incident at the end of the match leave a bitter tinge, I can only thank the guys for this game and look at the future March playoffs with optimism.
This team fought to the last second in a very difficult qualifying group and did not concede a point to the reigning European champions - I think this shows that they are very deserving of a place in them.
