Lazio head coach Maurizio Sarri has admitted that he regrets his departure from Chelsea at the end of the 2018/2019 season.
"At Juventus, I was expected to win the Champions League, the message from the management was clear. I managed to win the Scudetto with a team whose best years were somewhere in the past. The management wanted to change the style of play, but they lacked the determination.
I can say one thing - I made a mistake when I left Chelsea. Returning to Italy was the wrong decision on my part," La Repubblica quoted Sarri as saying.
