The midfielder of Zhytomyr Polesya Vasyl Hrytsuk told what he expects from the match of his team with Shakhtar Donetsk in the 15th round of the Ukrainian championship, which will be held today in Lviv.
"During the pause in the championship we have not lost our pace, everything is good. After the weekend we met and continued to work. We played a two-way game. We keep ourselves in shape and are waiting for the match.
I think there is no need to introduce our opponent, it is the champion of our country. For many years, the Pitmen have been fighting for the championship and playing in the Champions League. This team is always on the radar and everyone knows everything about it.
The current Shakhtar is a very well-balanced team. There have been a lot of changes in it recently. There used to be a lot of foreigners there, but now Shakhtar are a little bit less in this respect. But still, it is a good team, which always plays beautiful and fast football. And the Pitmen's squad is a fusion of youth and experience. Therefore, I think we are in for a good game. The champions will meet the champions (last season Shakhtar became the UPL champions, while Polesie won the first league - editor's note) and the match will show how it will be, " Hrytsuk said in a commentary to the Polesie press service.
