Girona's sporting director Kike Carcelle spoke about the transfers of Viktor Tsygankov and Artem Dovbyk.
"We have the opportunity to work in different markets because we are under the umbrella of Manchester City. The situation with Tsygankov and Dovbyk was quite complicated. They both already play for the Ukrainian national team, so we had to act boldly. And a big advantage is that we are owned by City Football Group. They support us and allow us to be decisive when we are dealing with transfers," Carcel said in an interview with The Athletic.
