The new head coach of Minaj, Željko Ljubenović, spoke about his team's current problems and the tasks for the final two matches of the year - against Dynamo Kyiv (3 December) and LNZ Cherkasy (9 December).
"We can't score in the eighth match in a row... In the match against Kryvbas we had chances to finally do it, but unfortunately, we failed again. So we need to work even harder to finish.
This week I worked more on the emotional component because the team was morally depressed. We need not only to score, but also to win. In the matches against Dynamo and LNZ we will try to get some points. These are serious rivals. Of course, it will be difficult, but I believe in my team. We can achieve a positive result," Lubenovic said at a press conference after yesterday's 0-1 match against Kryvbas in the 15th round of the Ukrainian league.
