Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino commented on the team's defeat in the 13th round of the English Championship against Newcastle (1-4).
"We failed to prepare in the best possible way and that worries me. We thought we were ready to fight today, but we didn't do it the way this competition requires.
Even if Newcastle were not at their best, they won easily. We, Chelsea, had to come here and show that it would be difficult for them to play against us and it would be difficult to beat us. But the victory was really easy for the opponent, given the goals we conceded. We played very softly in every single combat," The Independent quoted Pochettino as saying.
