Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur was injured in the match of the 13th round of the English Championship against Aston Villa (1-2).
It was the 26-year-old's first appearance for Spurs since a serious knee injury left him out of action for eight months. A blatant foul by Matty Cash forced the Uruguayan to leave the field early in the middle of the first half.
According to Sky Sports, Bentancur now faces another lengthy treatment as he has damaged ankle ligaments. His recovery could take at least two and a half months.
