Dinamo Bucharest yesterday announced the termination of co-operation by mutual consent with the head coach of its first team, Ovidiu Burca.
The dismissal of the coach was prompted by the results of the team in the current Romanian championship: the penultimate place in the standings after 17 rounds. Last weekend, Dinamo suffered another defeat against Steaua (0:1).
It is interesting that the former head coach of Dynamo Kyiv Mircea Lucescu was present at this game, who was watching the game in the company of the shareholder of Dinamo Bucharest Sorin Preda.
It is not surprising that immediately after Burca's resignation, Romanian media asked Lucescu to answer the question whether he will now take charge of Dynamo, where he began to be "wooed" almost immediately after parting ways with Ukrainian football.
"I cannot comment on the situation at Dynamo. I just came to the derby, I just came to watch football. And it does not matter who sat next to me in the stands and with whom I talked during the game. And what if I even have offers from abroad? In general, I do not want to comment on anything now," iamsport.ro quoted Lucescu as saying.
We shall remind you that Lucescu has already coached Dinamo Bucharest in 1985-1990.
