Sunderland head coach: "I took Rusyn off the game because he missed several scoring opportunities"

Sunderland's Ukrainian forward Nazariy Rusyn was substituted at half-time of the Championship match against Plymouth. Cats head coach Tony Mowbray explained his decision.

Nazariy Rusyn

"I took Rusyn off because he missed several scoring opportunities. He was also sent offside a few times, so I decided to bring on another forward. Mayenda looked very good in training. All our strikers have to play, otherwise we won't know if they are capable of scoring goals," si.com quoted Mowbray as saying.
