Maupay made his fourth substitution in the 90th minute, replacing M. Pirt-Harris. When the half-time whistle sounded, Brentford were deserved winners. An effective attack and solid defence were the deciding factor in the clash between the two teams. Luton fought valiantly, but in the end failed to pick up a single point.
