Vorskla defender Igor Perduta shared his emotions from the confrontation with Dnipro-1 in the 16th round of the Ukrainian championship.
- The main thing is that conceding a goal in the opening period did not knock us out of our rut. On the contrary, it helped us to unite, and even before the break we took the lead.
- It seems that this season Vorskla are more comfortable playing away and against the leaders. Earlier we overcame the resistance of Shakhtar, and now - Dnipro-1. Or is it a coincidence?
- Indeed, so far we are let down by the game at home, although in previous seasons home matches were our "trump card". So, we have identified one of the unused reserves.
As for the games with Shakhtar and Dnipro-1, of course, it is nice to win against them. Especially since we took revenge from Dnipro for the defeat in the first round. I believe that today, with an equal game, we better realised our chances. In several episodes our goalkeeper Pavlo Isenko helped us out.
