Wolf of Borussia Dortmund received yellow cards for aggressive behaviour. Despite the tense end of the match, neither team could find a winner and the game ended in a 1-1 draw. It was a hard fought game in which both Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund showed their skill, determination and tactical prowess. As a result, both teams picked up one point each and laid the foundation for future meetings between these Bundesliga giants.
