It was previously believed that the 24-year-old goalkeeper was tied to the Royal Club with an agreement until the summer of 2024, and it was expected that Lunin would inevitably change teams after the end of the current season.

At the same time, it is reported that the Real Madrid management is impressed with both Lunin's game and his professional qualities, and is considering signing a new contract with him, for a longer term. It is expected that this issue will be resolved before the end of the season.

Recall, the main goalkeeper of "Real" Kepa Arrisabaga not so long ago received a muscle injury. After that Lunin played for his team five matches in a row: three - in the championship of Spain, and two - in the Champions League. In total, in the current season, the Ukrainian played seven matches for his club, conceding four goals in them.
