The rescheduled German championship match between Bayern Munich and Union Berlin will take place on 24 January next year, the German Football League has announced.
The match was supposed to take place last Saturday, but snowfall in Munich prevented it. The pitch at the Allianz Arena has no problem with such conditions as it is heated, but it does not have a heated roof like the Olimpiyskiy, and the bad weather could have put the fans at risk.
