On Thursday, 7 December, in the postponed match of the 3rd round of the Ukrainian championship Dynamo Kyiv with the score 4:2 defeated Kharkiv Metalist 1925. The meeting was held in Kyiv at the stadium "Dynamo" named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy. Here is the post-match press conference of the teams' coaches.
Oleksandr SHOVKOVSKY, Dynamo acting head coach:
- Why did Nesheret play today and not Buschan?
- Because he deserved it. He deserved it with his attitude to the training process, with his hard work.
Everything is fine with Buschan, too. All the guys are preparing, all are ready to take the field. Neither in Dynamo, nor in the world in general, there are no players who have a hundred per cent confidence that they will play.
- How will your team prepare for the final match of the year - with Obolon next Monday?
- In the normal mode. Nothing extra, nothing special. Everything will be as always. Tomorrow we will gather at the base. The players, who got into the starting lineup today, will undergo recovery. For the rest there will be a training session. So we will start our preparation for the upcoming game.
- Which of the four goals against the opponent did you like the most?
- I like every goal we scored. Especially if it is part of the final positive result.
Today we finally scored after standard positions. It has not happened for a long time. I would like the guys to go even more boldly into the opponent's penalty area. And I haven`t seen them take penalties yet - I would like to see that, too. (Smiling).
Oleg GOLODYUK, head coach of "Metalist 1925":
- It`s hard to comment here. Already in the first half we missed two counterattacks from "Dynamo". Almost every time we can`t even finish the half in equal lineups. And, given that we had a match with Shakhtar just three days ago, and Dynamo were resting, it was difficult for us to play in unequal squads today against an opponent of such a level.
