The draw for the elite qualifying round of Euro 2024 among boys under 19 took place, in which the national team of Ukraine (players not older than 2005) took part.
It will be recalled that Oleg Kuznetsov's wards took first place in their group of the qualifying round. Before the draw for the elite round of selection, the Blue and Yellows were placed in the second basket.
In the elite round, the 27 teams that have advanced from the qualifying round will join top-seeded Portugal, who will enter the competition at this stage. The matches will take place on 18-26 March 2024.
The winners of the elite round groups will join the host, Northern Ireland, in the final stage, which will take place on 15-28 July 2024 and will be a UEFA qualifier for the 2025 U-20 World Cup.
As a result of the draw, the blue and yellows are in Group 7, where they will play against Switzerland, Northern Macedonia and Latvia.
