Football club Livyi Bereh has issued an official statement regarding the information about the possible appointment of Volodymyr Sharan as its new head coach.
"Recently, some media outlets have published information about the alleged possible employment of Volodymyr Sharan as head coach of FC Left Bank.
We officially inform you that these rumours are unfounded. FC Livyi Bereh is not in talks with Volodymyr Sharan or anyone else. The current head coach of the team, Vitaliy Pervak, enjoys the full confidence of the club's management and will continue to prepare the team for the second stage of the season.
We would like to remind you that under the leadership of Pervak and his coaching staff, L'viv Bereg successfully spent the first part of the season, reaching the Champions Group of the First League, and the coach himself has been repeatedly recognised as the best coach of the tour, which testifies to the positive results of his work at the helm of the team.
We urge the media not to disseminate unverified information, but to contact our club press service for comment - we are open to communication and will be happy to answer all questions of interest to the public," the club's official telegram channel said.
