Valencia's Ukrainian striker Roman Yaremchuk received good reviews of his game from Spanish sports journalists after the 1/32 final away match against Arosa, in which he scored the winning goal (1-0).
"Yaremchuk is showing signs of life. Valencia defeated Arosa 1-0. The best news, perhaps the only news other than progression to the next round, was exactly the long-awaited goal of the Ukrainian.
Yaremchuk seemed more active than in other matches, showing a boldness we haven't seen so far. Baraha asked his players to step up and Roman did."
"A striker has to score and Yaremchuk finally did it. In addition to the goal, he won several individual duels, capitalising on his strength."
"The striker in a Valencia shirt finally authored the goal. Yaremchuk moved well, especially with his back to goal."
In the next round of the Spanish championship, the Ukrainian team will play away against Getafe on Friday, 8 December, at 22:00 Kyiv time.
