According to the Daily Star, the Citizens' head coach Pep Guardiola wants to see the 24-year-old in his team. It is expected that the transfer fee for the Canadian player could reach £50 million.
Buchanan predominantly plays on the right wing of the attack, but can also play as a right wing-back. After Riyad Mahrez moved to Saudi Arabia, Guardiola placed Phil Foden or Bernardo Silva on the right wing.
This season, Buchanan has scored three goals and provided four assists in 19 matches for Brugge in all competitions.
