In the 86th minute, both teams made additional substitutions: Tottenham replaced Y. Bissouma with B. Gil, while O. Skipp made an additional substitution. Gil, and O. Skipp replaced B. Johnson. Johnson. At the same time, Newcastle replaced K. Trippier with E. Kraft. In the final minutes of the match, Newcastle managed to salvage a consolation goal when Joelinton hit the net in the 90th minute. However, it was too late to get back into the game and the referee blew the final whistle, confirming Tottenham's convincing win over Newcastle. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium erupted in cheers as the fans applauded their team's outstanding performance.
