Source: 12 regional associations have already nominated Andriy Shevchenko as a candidate for the post of UAF president

The president of the Ukrainian national football journalists' team and editor-in-chief of the news agency Centre for News, Olha Vitak, has said that 12 regional football associations have already nominated former Dynamo Kyiv and Ukraine national team striker Andriy Shevchenko as a candidate for the UAF presidency.

"12 friends of Shevchenko (regional associations) have already held meetings of their executive committees and submitted applications to the UAF to elect the former Ukraine national team coach as UAF president. Tomorrow (Tuesday - ed.) will hold a meeting of the UPL. At 12 o'clock it will be known who their candidate is.

None of the regional associations did not provide alternative candidates for the position of UAF head. By the way, the Lviv association this week will offer its candidate, they are just about to meet the Executive Committee", - wrote Vitak on her page in the social network Facebook.

We will remind earlier it became officially known that Shevchenko was nominated as a candidate for the post of president of the UAF by the Kyiv association of football associations, as well as the Association of football of Dnipropetrovsk region.
