Porto head coach Sergio Conceição shared his expectations from the Champions League match with Shakhtar.
"With the arrival of the new coach, Shakhtar became more stable, more solid and added in terms of play. But they have the same players, many of them play for the national team. I want us to be the team that continues on the way in this competition. We have to earn our way to the 1/8 finals.
Is it good to realise that a draw will also take us to the play-offs? No fan is satisfied with a draw, and I am not an exception to this rule. We have to play to win. If we get a draw because of the strength of our opponents, then so be it. But we go into the game to win," Conceição was quoted as saying by UEFA's official website.
