Oleg Shandruk gave his first comment after being appointed head coach of Veres Rivne.

Now the team is in a difficult tournament position. But I love football. I love Veres. And having already overcome certain stages of Ukrainian football, children's and adult, you need to take on serious challenges.
I love football for my passion. And I would like Veres to play passionate football. I would like to ask for the support of the fans now. Because I understand how hard it was for Serhiy Lavrynenko. Perhaps it was the support of the fans that was not enough to achieve the result. We want the fans to see the fire and passion in the eyes of the players and we want to ignite this passion in the fans.
Now I feel mixed emotions. I am very pleased that the first team trusts me. This means that I have been working well with the U-19 team. But I am also very sorry to say goodbye to the youth team," said Shandruk.
