Djakovac scored in the 48th minute, further reducing the deficit. TSC Backa Topola made a number of substitutions in an attempt to change the game. In the 56th minute, U. Milovanovic, M. Radin and N. Petrovic came on as substitutes, while B. Sos made room for Petrovic.
However, their efforts were in vain, as tension was building, which led to a yellow card for N. Kuvelić in the 60th minute. A few minutes later, Kuvelić received a red card, leaving TSC Backa Topola with ten men on the pitch. However, TSC Backa Topola managed to score another goal thanks to A. Cirkovic in the 61st minute, which boosted their morale despite the reduced squad. Olympiacos reacted immediately by making two substitutions in the 64th minute. A. El Kaabi and G.
