In a tense UEFA Europa Conference League match between Slovan Bratislava and Olimpija Ljubljana, Olimpija won 2-1. In the 54th minute M. Borjan from Slovan Bratislava received a red card, forcing his team to play with fewer players on the pitch. This was a blow to Slovan Bratislava's hopes of victory and Olimpija Ljubljana took advantage of the numerical advantage and scored in the 58th minute, once again thanks to the impressive P.L. Schweitzer. Slovan Bratislava made their first substitution in the 56th minute, bringing on M. Trnovski in place of K. Wimmer.
However, their attempts to get back on track were foiled by the resolute defence of Olimpija Ljubljana. Both teams made one more substitution each to strengthen their squads. Slovan Bratislava replaced L. Pausek with J. Zmrhal and D. Strelec with M. Tolic in the 67th minute. Olimpija Ljubljana also made two substitutions in the 75th minute, with M. Brest replacing R. Kasa and J. Silva replacing J. Lasickas. Lasickas. The match continued to be tense in the final stages and in the 83rd minute Olimpija Ljubljana made the last substitution. P. L. Schweizer, who had played an important role throughout the match, was replaced by M. Nukic. Sensing victory, Olimpija made the last substitution in the 89th minute, replacing S. Fadida with M. Mijailovic. After the final whistle, Olimpija celebrated a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava. Despite the fact that Slovan played with ten men for most of the match, the Bratislava club put in a lot of effort, but ultimately lost. Olimpija Ljubljana showed their strength and determination, emphasising their potential in the competition. The exciting match at Stadion Tehelne was a reminder of the passion and excitement that football can bring. Both teams demonstrated skill, resilience and team spirit throughout the game, leaving fans looking forward to the next chapter in their European football journey.
