Valerii Ivashchenko: "There are no questions about the two penalties against Obolon. But there are questions about Dynamo's firs

Obolon Kyiv head coach Valeriy Ivashchenko touched upon the key episodes of his team's recent 0-2 loss to Dynamo Kyiv in the 17th round of the Ukrainian Premier League.

"Many people say, and Dynamo president Ihor Surkis says, that we are constantly complaining about the referees. We played with ten men from the 13th minute onwards, and we had to reorganise to play reliably in defence. We're not going to play open football with Dynamo. There can be no objections to Artem Vovkun's sending off. That's right, we didn't even speak out against it.

But there are questions about Dynamo's first goal against us in the 67th minute. In many programmes, various journalists have already analysed that there was offside in that episode. And besides, Benito would not have been able to get into a striking position if he had not pushed our player beforehand. There would have been no such movement of our defender in the episode. It was clear that he was pushed from behind, the ball was taken away and shot on goal. They scored a goal.

We have claims against the referee for not seeing it. Many TV channels analysed this moment and agreed that it was also offside. If there are no questions about the sending off, then this moment caused us emotions.

We also have no questions about Moroz's sending off in the 84th minute. The player acted rudely, it was a fair punishment. We try to approach these issues adequately. People say that we always complain about the referees. But we try to defend our guys and the team if there are real mistakes," Ukrainian Football quoted Ivashchenko as saying.
