Shakhtar Donetsk will be cleaning up its staff in the winter off-season, according to journalist Mikhail Spivakovsky, who has no chance to play but is paid well.
- "According to my information, Shakhtar will be engaged in a personnel purge. Because there are people who have zero chances. They get paid, but as footballers, they fade away. There is a preliminary list of five players who will be sent out on loan or will be looking for another job.
These are young players Eduard Kozik and Anton Glushchenko, and more experienced players Ivan Petryak and Marian Shved. We have already forgotten that these players are in the team. There is also Dmitry Topalov. I think that all these players, and especially Topalov, will be needed by many UPL clubs," the journalist told the TaToTake telegram channel.
