Possible transfers for Dynamo in the UPL market

Dynamo Kyiv is the flagship of Ukrainian football. Historically, the best players from all over Ukraine have come to play in Kyiv. Now is a very difficult time because of the war. Legionnaires are expensive and unreliable. A quality player will not come here, and you need to seriously overpay for mediocre ones. That's why we need to pay attention to the Ukrainian market.

Danylo Bezkorovainyi. Captain of Kryvbas, leader of Yurii Vernydub's defence. He played 15 matches out of 17. Scored three goals. The club from Kryvyi Rih is in first place in the UPL. Bezkorovainyi is called a potential candidate for the Ukrainian national team. He won the 2019 World Youth Championship in 2019. He was a key player in Oleksandr Petrakov's team.

At Dynamo, strengthening the central defender has been relevant for more than a year. No replacement for Ilya Zabarny has been acquired. The club is deliberately relying on its own players. So far, no one can boast of significant progress or reliability.

Bezkorovainyi's main problem is his inability to play with a high defensive line. When there is space behind, problems can arise. Everyone saw the match against Dynamo Kryvyi Rih when Dmytro was sent off at the start of the match after a defensive failure. Where there is a lot of vertical football and power play, Bezkorovainyi feels great. For more complex football, he will have problems. Therefore, it is very unlikely that he will be able to strengthen Dynamo.

Oleksiy Hutsulyak. He has been in the public eye for more than a year. He played successfully for Karpaty and Desna. Now he plays a leading role in Dnipro-1. He is fast, technical, and can solve an episode in his own favour with his skills.

Dynamo lacks wingers. In fact, there are currently only two of them - Nazar Voloshin and Vladyslav Kabaev. Andriy Yarmolenko is injured and is already 34 years old. There is no confidence in Samba Diallo. Oleksandr Karavayev can play all positions on the wings. Therefore, another quality player on the attacking flanks would be useful for the depth of the squad. The same Diallo could gain experience on loan during this time.

Now Hutsulyak is the main nose maker of football Ukraine. "Polissia", "Dynamo", not being called up to the national team, salary. He comments himself. The president of Polissia comments. It seems that there is a PR campaign for the player with a desire to sell him for more money and get better personal conditions.

Hutsulyak's contract with Dnipro-1 is valid until the end of the season, but the club has an option to extend it for another year. Therefore, no one will sell him cheaply. Does it make sense to pay millions of dollars for an almost 26-year-old player who was successful only at the Ukrainian level? It's only to achieve internal goals. If he could be taken for a small amount of money, then we could really think about it. But there is no point in overpaying. Hutsulyak himself looks like a player purely for the domestic market of Ukraine. It is unlikely that he will be able to sell him at a higher price to Europe.

The issue looks very controversial. Most likely, Dynamo in this story has only the opportunity to make a good PR before the transfer to Polissya.

Oleksandr Pikhalonok. One of the best creative players in the middle of the field. Give, create, find - all this is about Pikhalonok. No wonder Artem Dovbyk was able to revive his career at Dnipro-1 with such an assistant.

Dynamo have some problems in the middle of the pitch. Oleksandr Andrievsky lacks stability despite his age of 29. Volodymyr Shepelev has no progress, plus injuries. Plus, his contract is only until the end of the season, and in January Shepelev can sign a preliminary contract with any club. Mykola Shaparenko is still not getting his physical and playing form. Shovkovskyi is rebuilding the team's play in the middle, so Shaparenko needs to remember his creative skills.

A move to Dynamo would be a realistic option if Shaparenko can be sold successfully. A couple of million could be allocated for a replacement. Now it's not very right to pay a lot of money for a player just for the sake of ambitions at the UPL level. Shovkovskyi has enough players in the middle of the field to work with and improve their level. Plus, he has his own talented Kyrylo Osypenko, who has great potential.

I think Pikhalenok himself doesn't really dream of playing for Dynamo or Polissia. Nowadays, everyone wants to play in Europe. He is unlikely to progress at the Ukrainian level.

Oleksandr Svatok. Captain and leader of Dnipro-1 in defence. He is an experienced defender who is reliable thanks to his experience and class. In fact, he is one of the strongest centre-backs in the country.

But he is a footballer without prospects. He is ready to play right away. But his skills will not get better. You can't expect any investment here. This player is purely for internal use.

If Dynamo sold someone from the central defenders for a lot of money, then we could talk about a possible transfer. Now there are four defenders in the first team. Plus the youngsters - Taras Mikhavko, Nazar Balaba, Vladyslav Zakharchenko, Maksym Korobov.

Eduardo Guerrero. One of the strongest forwards in the UPL. He has a goal-scoring sense, is cunning, fast, technical. He can beat, run away, deceive, score a goal on his own skill. If Zorya's level was higher now, Guerrero's goal tally would have been more than 10 in the first part of the season. He needs someone to support him.

At the same time, the Panamanian will only be 24 years old in February. That is, there is a prospect of a further transfer to Europe.

In terms of transfer, this transfer would look more realistic than players from Dnipro-1. The amount of a potential transfer is around €1 million. "Zorya lives on sales. It fills part of its budget with transfers. In addition, Dynamo and Zorya have a good relationship. Transfers between these teams happen quite often. "Dynamo can pay off their own young players, as was the case with Vladislav Kabaev.

Currently, Vlad Vanat is Dynamo's main forward. He is making progress, but not as much as we would like. Competition and depth in the squad would not hurt. There is also Vlad Supryaga plus Benito. Matvey Ponomarenko scores a lot in the youth team. Therefore, the expediency of signing another forward does not seem very appropriate. But on the other hand, Guerrero can play on the flanks of the midfield, which may also be interesting for Dynamo. In terms of finances, the Panamanian forward looks like a better option than Hutsulyak.

Ilya Kvasnytsia. The main discovery of the first part of the UPL season. Ilya is ready to beat, sharpen, and create chances on his own skills. There is no more creative and individual strong young player in Ukraine right now.

I wrote about wingers at Dynamo in more detail in the section on Hutsulyak. One more player would be a big help here. Kvasnytsia has not yet played a full season in the UPL. He proved that he can be not only in one team, but also in the youth team, where he also scored. Including the winning goal for England.

The main problem is that Rukh will not sell him. Or rather, they will sell him for a huge sum of money, which Kvasnytsia is not worth yet. Grigory Kozlovsky does not want to sell players in Ukraine. That is why Marko Sapuga did not join Shakhtar. The money that Rukh's founder wants, Dynamo can hardly afford right now. It's better to develop your own talents - Kyrylo Pashko, Andriy Matkevych, Dmytro Kermchanin, Vladyslav Kalyn.

Bohdan Slyubyk. In 2003, he became the main defender of Rukh. He made some mistakes, but Bohdan's potential and progress is obvious. Not every player can play in the centre of defence in the UPL at the age of 19.

Dynamo has players of a similar style - Denys Popov and Maksym Dyachuk. In addition, the price tag of €5 million looks clearly overvalued in the current climate. Therefore, a potential transfer looks unlikely.

Yuriy Klymchuk. 5 goals and 2 assists. The figures are on a par with Hutsulyak's, but Klymchuk is not particularly promoted, linked to other clubs or called up to the national team. Although they are very similar players in terms of their profile - the same age, ability to play on the wing and in the attacking midfield, speed, technique.

Klymchuk can add depth to Dynamo on the wings and in the attacking midfield. He will be 27 years old in the spring. He has already taken everything he could at the Rukh level. The Lviv club needs to develop its own youth. Klymchuk is one of the players who could go to a more status club. He deserves this opportunity. I don't think the price here can be overstated, as in the case of young players. Let's not forget that Yuriy is a Dynamo product.

Maxim Bragaru. One of the leaders of Chornomorets. Played in all 16 matches of the season. He is a member of the Ukrainian youth national team of the second convocation.

Bragaru plays as a left-back in Odesa. In addition, he can play on the wings in midfield. His main virtue is speed. He is a space-dependent player. In football, Hryhorchuk needs to play more as a second choice, so Maxim's qualities are used. And at Dynamo, you need to play in a positional attack. Here, Brarago does not have many relevant qualities.

On the left, Dynamo has no problems in defence because they have Kostiantyn Vivcharenko and Vladyslav Dubinchak. On the wings, another player would be useful.

Maksym's contract with Odesa is valid until the end of the season. In January, he can sign a preliminary contract with any club. The potential price in the winter will not be high.
