Valerii Ivashchenko: "If there is such a resonance around my words about female referees, it means I am saying something right"

Obolon head coach Valeriy Ivashchenko said that the club had not received any letters from the UAF Ethics and Fair Play Committee regarding his recent statements.

- The Ethics Committee was going to start a case because of your statements about refereeing. Has the club already received any papers?

- In which they saw sexism? No, there were no letters.

- Did you expect such heated discussions around your statement?

- I don't know, I expressed my opinion. But if there is such a resonance, it means that it has touched someone somewhere. So I must be saying something right. I didn't seem to say anything terrible, but someone was seriously hurt. So it is right that we are discussing this.
