Real Madrid's management is likely to be forced to act urgently in the January transfer window due to the injury to David Alaba.

Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti said that the club will consider whether "something can be done" during the January transfer window, as Eder Militao is also unlikely to play this season.
Nacho Fernandez remains an experienced defender option for Carlo Ancelotti, while Rafa Martin could be brought back from his loan spell at Alaves early.
