The Supreme Court of the European Union has ruled that UEFA and FIFA acted contrary to EU competition law by blocking plans to create a Super League. The official website of the EU Supreme Court informs.
"The rules of FIFA and UEFA, according to which they can prohibit clubs and players from playing in any new inter-club football project, such as the Super League, are illegal," reads the published press release.
