UEFA issued a statement following the European Union Supreme Court ruling in favour of Super League

UEFA have issued a statement following the judgement of the European Court of Justice which has ruled that UEFA and FIFA sanctions against Super League are illegal.

"UEFA takes note of the judgement handed down today by the Supreme Court of the European Union in the Super League case.

This judgement does not constitute an endorsement or recognition of the so-called 'Super League'. Rather, it highlights an existing flaw in UEFA's pre-authorisation system, a technical aspect that has already been recognised and remedied in June 2022.

UEFA is confident in the robustness of its new rules, including that they comply with all relevant European laws and regulations. UEFA remains a strong advocate of the European football pyramid, ensuring that it continues to serve the broader public interest.

We will continue to shape the European sporting model together with national associations, leagues, clubs, fans, players, coaches, EU institutions, governments and partners.

We trust that the solidarity-based European football pyramid, the European football pyramid, fans and all stakeholders have proclaimed as their indispensable model, will be protected from the threat of withdrawal by European and national laws," said a statement on UEFA's official website.

Лучше бы выступили с заявлением по поводу того, что дали добро на проведение матча свинособак с их меньшими братьями. Или проведение этого матча и есть ярким проявлением вашей европейской футбольной солидарности, позорники?
