According to the Girondins4Ever portal, citing Sud Ouest, the father of Bordeaux midfielder Danylo Ihnatenko, who serves in the Armed Forces, was seriously injured near Bakhmut.
He has reportedly been evacuated to Germany and undergone surgery. Ihnatenko's father is currently undergoing rehabilitation there.
As a reminder, Ihnatenko has been a player of Bordeaux since 2022, which currently plays in the second division of the French championship.
