- It was the most terrifying moment in my life, let alone football. The medical guys were incredible. It was a crazy tense situation that the whole world was watching. They made the right decisions. I am so proud of them. They saved him. Our medics who were there, they are real heroes.

He is recovering, now he is taking small steps. Everyone will miss him. He is a leader, an inspiring figure for all of us. It is too early to talk about Lockyer's return. We are talking about Tom's recovery. He had surgery and we will see what happens next," said Rob Edwards.
