"Obolon officially denied the information about serving summonses to the club's players

Obolon Kyiv has issued an official statement in response to the information that 25 players of the club had allegedly received summonses from the TCC.

"The information that has been circulating in the public domain that Obolon Kyiv FC has received a group summons for 25 people from the TCC is not true!

We would like to inform you that at the moment none of the team's players have received any calls. After all, all the club's employees who are liable for military service comply with the Laws of Ukraine on Defence of Ukraine, on Mobilisation Preparation and Mobilisation, and on Military Duty and Military Service.

FC Obolon Kyiv complies with the requirements of the legislation and, in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1487 on the procedure for organising and introducing military registration of conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists, the military registration data of employees liable for military service, conscripts and reservists is currently being verified.

According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 76 dated 27 January 2023, Obolon FC was granted the status of a critical enterprise for the functioning of the economy. Accordingly, the club's players who are liable for military service received reservations for the mobilisation period.

FC Obolon Kyiv publicly asks that media workers not manipulate information.

Such false statements should be held accountable!" reads the club's statement published on the Obolon official website.
