On Friday, 22 December, Andriy Shevchenko's son Christian made his debut for Watford U-21.
The 17-year-old came on in the 75th minute in the match against Tring Athletic in the second round of the Hertfordshire Senior Cup. Shevchenko's team won a confident 4-1 victory.
"I am finishing this year on a good note. Happy to make my debut in the U-21 team," Christian wrote on his Instagram page, adding photos from the match.
It will be recalled that Christian started his career at Chelsea. Later, the media reported that he had signed a professional contract with Tottenham. In the summer of 2023, he became a player of Watford.
