In the 30th minute, Frosinone made their own substitution. P. Lirola replaced J. Baez, and Frosinone started looking for an opportunity to equalise. The game became more physical, and on 43 minutes W. McKennie received a yellow card. The second half started briskly and in the 51st minute Frosinone breathed new life into the game thanks to a goal from J. G. The goal breathed new life into the game and both teams began to look for a win.
Juventus quickly responded with a double substitution in the 54th minute, with F. Kostic replacing S. Ilinga Junior and K. Yildiz coming on in place of D. Vlahovic. The substitutions gave Juventus new vigour and immediately yielded results. In the 81st minute D. Vlahovic scored an important goal, giving Juventus back the lead. The goal made Juventus players and fans euphoric, while Frosinone tried hard to equalise. In the remaining minutes of the match, both teams made new substitutions in an attempt to change the outcome of the game. In the 55th minute Juventus brought on M. Locatelli in place of J. Nicolussi Caviglia in an attempt to consolidate their lead. Frosinone made three substitutions in the 69th minute: Caio Jorge replaced V. Cheddira, L. Garritano replaced A. Harrui and H. Baez replaced G. Kvernadze. At the end of the game both teams were trying to score, but it was Juventus who came closest to adding to their tally. In the 90th minute D. Vlahovic thought he had sealed the victory, but his goal was cancelled due to an offside infringement. Despite the disappointment, Juventus held on for a 2-1 victory. Overall, it was an exciting football match full of drama and highlights. Juventus showed their attacking prowess, while Frosinone showed their resilience and determination. Both teams fought hard, but Juventus were the deserved winners of the match.
