Former Dynamo Kyiv forward Ihor Belanov commented on his and Oleg Blokhin's inclusion in the FourFourTwo ranking of the world's best footballers of the 1980s.

I am glad to be on the list next to a legendary figure, the best footballer of the twentieth century - Oleg Blokhin. A legend. An idol.
