Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp commented on Kostas Tsimikas' injury in the match of the 18th round of the English Championship against Arsenal (1:1). The Greek defender was diagnosed with a fractured collarbone, which he sustained in an episode with Bukayo Saka, which led to a collision with Jurgen Klopp.
"Of course, it affected me. I didn't feel any pain, but I thought that maybe Kostas would be okay. I would have gladly given him my collarbone to get him fit again.
It's not cool when something like that happens in front of you and you're involved. I wasn't even sure what happened or if I fell on him. It's not nice to see," Klopp was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
