On 26 December, a meeting of the working group on the preparation and holding of the extraordinary XXVI UAF Congress took place at the Football House in Kyiv.
As you know, the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association has decided that the Congress will be held on 25 January 2024 at the Football House (Kyiv, starting at 12:00) and approved the agenda of the Congress.
The Executive Committee also instructed the UAF administration and the UAF Presidium to take all measures provided for by the UAF Statute to prepare and hold the extraordinary XXVI UAF Congress. Control over the implementation of this decision is entrusted to the First Vice President of the UAF Vadym Kostyuchenko.
The UAF members have already informed the administration of the Ukrainian Football Association of the decision of their governing bodies to nominate candidates for the position of UAF President and elect delegates to participate in the Congress.
On 27 December, the Football House is scheduled to hold meetings of the registration commission to establish the powers of delegates and the quorum of the extraordinary XXVI UAF Congress and the working group to verify the eligibility of candidates for the position of UAF President nominated for election at the extraordinary XXVI UAF Congress on 25 January 2024.
The results of the meetings of the commission and the working group will be reported to FIFA and UEFA, who are constantly informed of the progress of preparations for the UAF Congress.
