Bruntwaite received a yellow card, further emphasising the physicality of the match. As time wore on, Manchester City showed their class and sealed the win in the 86th minute. B. Silva headed the ball into the net, leaving Everton little time to counter attack. At the final whistle Manchester City celebrated a deserved victory. The match demonstrated the relentless competitive spirit of the Premier League, leaving both fans enthralled.
