Former Dynamo striker may become head coach of Vorskla

A well-known Ukrainian ex-attacker is a candidate for the role of head coach of Poltava-based Vorskla.

Oleksandr Melashchenko, who is now a member of the coaching staff of the Ukrainian Olympic team, is among the candidates for the post of Poltava coach, SportArena reported.

Melashchenko started his career at Vorskla. Then he played for Dynamo Kyiv, Dnipro and Metalurh Zaporizhzhya.

Earlier, Aleksandr Khatskevich, Armen Dallku, Jovan Markoski and Serhiy Dolganskiy were among the candidates for the post of Vorskla head coach.
