The Ukrainian Football publication at the end of the calendar year held a traditional referendum among domestic coaches, functionaries and journalists to determine the best in Ukraine in 2023. The results of the poll in the Best Coach of the Year nomination were published today.
Each of the respondents named their own version of the top three coaches. The nominee was awarded three points for the first place, two points for the second and one point for the third.
As a result, the winner in the nomination was the head coach of Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" Yuriy Vernidub, who scored 319 points. The second was the coach of the Ukrainian national team Serhiy Rebrov (179 points), and Dnipro-1 manager Yuriy Maksimov (113 points) rounded off the top three.
