Ten Hag is confident he will not be fired

Manchester United head coach Eric ten Hag is confident that he will retain his position with the Red Devils' new minority owners. On 24 December, the English giants announced that an agreement had been reached to buy a 25% stake in the club from Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS company.

- "The schedule is so tight, so I haven't had time to talk to them yet, but that moment will come and I'm looking forward to it. They want to work with me, and I want to work with them. There will be conversations and meetings, so we'll see.

I don't think there will be any big changes, so the line-up will be similar to the one we had against Villa. You see the reaction at Nottingham when a new coach comes in, Nuno Espirito Santo, you see the spirit. We have to be ready for that and it always depends on us," said Ten Hag.
