The former Dynamo Kyiv defender has become one of Besiktas' top transfer targets

Turkish "Besiktas", which failed in the first half of the current season (5th place in the standings of the national championship after 17 rounds), has planned a large-scale transfer campaign for the winter.

Aleksandar Dragovic

First of all, the Black Eagles intend to strengthen their defensive line, because the team concedes too much (23 goals in 17 matches). And in this regard, one of the main transfer targets of "Besiktas" was the Austrian defender of Belgrade "Crvena Zvezda" Aleksandar Dragovic, also known for his performances for Dynamo Kyiv.

According to Turkish media, "Besiktas" has been working hard for a long time on the transfer of the 32-year-old footballer and is now close to realising such a transfer. The task for the Istanbul club is made easier by the fact that Dragovic's contract with Crvena Zvezda expires in the summer, and the Austrian does not plan to extend his co-operation with this club. At the moment, Dragovic's transfer value is around €4m.
