Sport.ua has learned that Oleksandr Shevchenko, the head of the Lviv Football Association, will apply for the post of one of the first vice-presidents of the UAF.

According to the source, another contender is a well-known businessman.

We shall remind you that earlier it became officially known that the only candidate for the post of UAF president is the former coach of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Shevchenko. He will begin to determine his assistants on 10 January, when he should arrive in Kyiv.

The extraordinary UAF congress, where Andriy Shevchenko will be elected head of Ukrainian football, will be held on 25 January.
