Even without looking at the statistical calculations, it can be argued purely visually, on emotion, that the first part of the 2023/2024 club season was successful for Ukraine midfielder Viktor Tsygankov.

Even the Spanish press and experts are surprised at how Tsygankov has bypassed the traditional period of adaptation to a new team, league and country. Of course, this was also influenced by the coach's trust. Michel trusted Viktor with a place in the starting line-up in the very first match of the season, and the Ukrainian immediately thanked him with a successful assist. By the way, out of 14 matches, our guy started in 12.
As we have already noted, the end of 2023 was ruined by an injury, but, according to the coach, Tsygankov should be ready for the first match of 2024 (tomorrow, 3 January against Atletico).
