Former Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu continues to voice his reasons for leaving the club.
We shall remind you that initially the 78-year-old specialist at the press conference stated in full voice that he had decided to finish with football and that is why he was leaving Dynamo. Later Lucescu refuted himself, expressing his readiness to continue his coaching career, and the reason for his departure from the post of the Bilo-Syni coach called the difficult conditions in which they have to work now in Ukraine, as well as the desire to give way to young coaches.
Well, the other day the Romanian coach voiced a new version of his story of parting with Dynamo.
"I left Dynamo because my wife Nelly was afraid to move to Kyiv, and I no longer wanted her to stay at home alone. I was also worried about myself: I have an endless passion for football, but a lot also depends on my health," Lucescu said in an interview with bresciaoggi.
Lucescu also touched on the factor of working in war conditions.
"Now the Russians are bombing Kiev and other Ukrainian cities again, the situation is getting more and more difficult. I stayed in such conditions for 3 years, I built the Dynamo team, the only one in the world with the most pupils of my Academy. I have built the squad for the future," the Romanian specialist noted.
