Former Dynamo head coach Mircea Lucescu may soon become the coach of Besiktas.
According to Milliyet.com.tr, after Besiktas president Hasan Arat failed to agree on co-operation with Dutch specialist Giovanni van Bronckhorst, the Istanbul club boss turned to Mircea Lucescu.
It is known that the general director of Besiktas Saimet Aybaba has already had a telephone conversation with Lucescu, which ended very positively. Already today, the functionary of the Turkish club will go to Romania for talks with the Romanian coach.
If the parties can quickly agree, it is expected that next Tuesday, 9 January, "Besiktas" will play a match of the Turkish championship against "Rizespor" under the leadership of Lucescu.
We would like to add that recently Lucescu said that he does not want to take a new team in the middle of the season.
